Zhurkov Video in Forbes Magazine Galleries

During the solo exhibition of Tatyana Zhurkov at the Forbes Magazine Galleries, the short documentary video shot in St. Petersburg ran continuously for the benefit of visitors. The exhibition, entitled "Galactic Caterpillars and Cosmic Creatures" drew special attention from Christie's, the pre-eminent New York auction house, which created a private viewing for their young collectors of contemporary art and sculpture. A feature story in New York's Russian language newspaper, Novoye Russkoye Slovo, reported "There in a corner, a film ran on a television screen showing one after another different fantastic creatures similar to thousand-leggers with doll's faces…"
